Shrimp Chupe Tamales
Shrimp chupe is a traditional soup from Peruvian cuisine, originating in the southern Andean region, especially Arequipa. It is known for its rich and creamy flavor, made with shrimp, chilies, potatoes, milk and cheese, offering a comforting and hearty experience. Over time, shrimp chupe has become a culinary symbol blending the coastal and highland traditions of Peru.
This time, we’ve chosen to reinvent this beloved dish by fusing it with tamales, another icon of Latin American cuisine. The result: shrimp chupe tamales. The dough is made from corn flour, enriched with olive oil, butter, and seafood broth. It’s filled with shrimp and a deep chupe-style sauce made with cream, yellow chili (ají mirasol), red chili (ají panca), tomato paste, red onion, garlic, and spices such as cumin, pepper, annatto, and cilantro. A fusion that honors tradition while offering innovation in every bite.

Instructions for reheating: Do not open the vacuum-sealed bag in which the tamale is packaged. Heat the tamale for 20 minutes in boiling water or a steamer. It will then be ready to enjoy!
The additional sauce only needs to be heated for 8 minutes in the same vacuum-sealed bag in which you receive the product, in boiling water or a steamer.Storage tips: Do not open the vacuum-sealed bag in which the tamale is packaged. This helps keep the tamale in perfect condition for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
Shipping Policy
We deliver throughout the Netherlands from Monday to Friday.
All orders placed on the same day before 08:00 AM will be shipped the same day and delivered between 04:00 PM and 09:30 PM.
Orders placed after 08:00 AM will be shipped the next day and delivered between 04:00 PM and 09:30 PM.On weekends, we only deliver to the cities of The Hague, Rijswijk, and Delft.
The same applies here: orders placed before 08:00 AM will be shipped the same day and delivered in the afternoon.
