Lamb Seco Tamales
Lamb seco is a traditional Peruvian dish rooted in the fusion of indigenous and Spanish culinary traditions. It originated on the northern coast of Peru, where cilantro, chicha de jora, and chili peppers were combined with European cooking methods. The result is a thick, aromatic stew with a deep, complex flavor where lamb is slowly braised in a rich sauce made with beer, chicha, and spices.
This time, we are blending this traditional stew with the beloved Latin American tamal to create lamb seco tamales. Corn masa is filled with tender, slow-cooked lamb in seco sauce, then topped with more of its own reduced sauce for a bold and authentic taste. It’s a fusion of Peruvian criollo flavor and the deep-rooted essence of the tamal.

Ingredients
Corn flour, lamb meat, olive oil, white onion, chicha de jora, beer, beef broth, monosodium glutamate, Himalayan salt, yellow chili (ají mirasol), panca chili, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, cilantro, annatto.

Our products are made with the utmost care in their handling and production.
Our products are delivered refrigerated. Instructions for reheating: Do not open the vacuum-sealed bag in which the tamale is packaged. Heat the tamale for 20 minutes in boiling water or a steamer. It will then be ready to enjoy!
The additional sauce only needs to be heated for 8 minutes in the same vacuum-sealed bag in which you receive the product, in boiling water or a steamer.
Storage tips: Do not open the vacuum-sealed bag in which the tamale is packaged. This helps keep the tamale in perfect condition for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
Shipping policy
We deliver throughout the Netherlands from Monday to Friday.
All orders placed on the same day before 08:00 AM will be shipped the same day and delivered between 04:00 PM and 09:30 PM. Orders placed after 08:00 AM will be shipped the next day and delivered between 04:00 PM and 09:30 PM.
On weekends, we only deliver to the cities of The Hague, Rijswijk, and Delft.
The same applies here: orders placed before 08:00 AM will be shipped the same day and delivered in the afternoon. Orders placed after 08:00 AM will be shipped the next day and delivered in the afternoon.
